FAQ

1- Is my data safe with you?

Absolutely. We know that your data is extremely valuable and sensitive. And we spend a lot of time and resources to protect your data. Besides, we are in the invitation business. This means WE DO NOT SELL, LEASE OR USE YOUR DATA in any way other than to provide you the service you expect from us: promoting an event, inviting guests, and registering them. We also recommend you read our privacy policy to learn more.

2- Is there a maximum number of emails or SMS ushouldcome can send?

Technically there is no limit of what ushouldcome services can send. However, to make sure the quality of delivery of your communication is maximum, we ask that you contact us before to be able to invite more than 5,000 contacts.

3- What does the “status” of my messages mean?

We want to be as transparent as possible with our clients. After an event has been published, there are actually several steps that our system performs before telling you the response of your guests. First, ushouldcome sends your emails and SMS. Then, they are delivered, read, and answered to. The status is the step where your message currently is in.

4- What does “bounce” or “not sent” mean?

A bounce message or just "bounce" is an automated message from a mail system, informing the sender of a previous message that that message had not been delivered (or some other delivery problem occurred). We want you to have bounce free, spam free email lists. That’s why we may use certain third party provider like emaillistverify to check the score of certain email address prior to communicate on your event. Should the score indicate a high risk of spam or bounce, our system will not send your message. Its status will be "Not sent”.

5- Some of my messages bounced, or were not sent. Can I be reimbursed?

No. Unless the status of your messages is “technical issue”, ushouldcome will not reimburse you. You are responsible for the quality of your lists, which includes making sure that the phone numbers and email addresses you use are correct.

6- Why did some of my contacts unsubscribe or reply stop to my text messages?

Any mass email or SMS provider which complies with the current regulations has to allow recipients to not to receive the communication of the sender. Basically, you cannot send anything to somebody who asked you not to. Pretty fair right?

7- Where is my data stored?

The security of your information is extremely important to us. We spend a lot of time making sure that our system is safe. That is why your data is encrypted and stored in data centres located in New York and operated under contract by suitably qualified third parties.

8- Do you comply with the GDPR?

Yes. If you want to know more about it, we invite you to read the ushouldcome - GDPR compliance page accessible at the bottom of our website.

9- How can I make suggestions?

We love suggestions. Just send us an email at contact@ushouldcome.com with "Suggestions" in the subject.

10- How do I opt-out from a communication?

By SMS, reply STOP, REMOVE, OPT OUT or CANCEL. Or send STOP, CANCEL or OPT OUT by SMS, to the number noted in the SMS received. By email, click on "unsubscribe" in the footer.
